What we collect.
If you join the opening list, we collect your email address, your consent choice, the WATISART page where you signed up, and limited campaign information attached to the link you used. That information may include UTM campaign values, the first WATISART landing path, the current WATISART path, and the referring website’s hostname.
If you use the contact form, we collect the topic you choose, your email address, and the message you send. Please do not include payment-card numbers, passwords, government identifiers, medical information, or other sensitive information.
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes ordinary technical information, such as an IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site. Netlify Web Analytics also uses the site’s server logs to provide aggregate pageview, visitor, referral-source, and general-location trends.
What we do with it.
- Send studio notes and release access when you explicitly join the list.
- Respond to contact, privacy, and future order-support requests.
- Understand which WATISART pages and campaigns lead to genuine interest.
- Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations when applicable.
A contact message does not add you to the marketing list. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Where it goes.
Netlify hosts this site and processes its forms on WATISART’s behalf. When the email program is activated, MailerLite will store consented list records and deliver studio messages. When checkout opens, Stripe will process payment and order details, and Prodigi will receive the order and delivery information needed to produce and ship the prints. We disclose information to service providers only as needed to operate the studio, or when legally required.
Cookies and tracking.
This version of WATISART does not set advertising cookies, load ad pixels, or use third-party behavioral analytics. Netlify Web Analytics is server-side and does not add an analytics script or analytics cookies to the storefront. WATISART uses browser session storage, when available, to keep first-touch campaign information while you move between WATISART pages. That session information is not used to follow you across unrelated websites.
We do not authorize another party to collect personally identifiable information about your activities over time and across unrelated websites when you use WATISART. Stripe’s hosted checkout and the service providers named above operate under their own notices when you use their services.
Because the site does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change the site’s behavior. We will update this section before adding technology that would make those signals relevant.
How long we keep it.
We keep opening-list information while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, we remove it from active marketing records within 30 days unless we must retain a limited record for legal, security, or suppression purposes. We ordinarily keep contact messages for no more than 24 months after the last exchange. Hosting security logs and backups may follow the provider’s separate retention cycle.
Your choices.
You can unsubscribe through any marketing email. You can also ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided by using the WATISART contact form and choosing “Privacy request.” We may need to verify that the request concerns your information before acting on it.
Children.
WATISART is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security and changes.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Material changes to this notice will appear here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how existing subscriber information is used, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
